Shore Safari

Join us for a shore safari!

Event begins at 1pm and last for two-three hours.

We have a number of locations, check we are running one in your area before booking.
Suitable for children and families, some locations may be difficult for physical difficulties.

Overview:
We begin by introducing ourselves and what we will be doing throughout the shore safari. As these areas can be difficult to navigate, and the creatures we may find could be harmed easily. For this tour we do not allow you to bring nets nor do we supply any, we will have a bucket for creatures to be shown but your leader will be the only one handling any creatures.

Adults are encouraged to stay with their children while the event is happening. We’ll be looking for some common species such as Green Shore Crabs, Hermit Crabs, Wrasse as well as looking for those difficult to spot species such as Common Starfish, Common Blenny, Eels, Lobster and Octopus. We’ll also have some ID sheets on hand for children to use to match their creatures to the picture, but we will also have some books for the adults to use too!

We’ll be recording our sightings to see the amount of species and diversity we can find!
